BAR AND RESTAURANT
At La Mascotte, the real Montmartre is alive and well. Both a bar and a brasserie, it's the last authentic Parisian bistro left on Rue des Abbesses, in the southern heart of Montmartre. It was founded in 1889, the same year as the Eiffel Tower and the Moulin Rouge..
THE BAR : La Mascotte is a drop-in, local bar whose multifarious and colourful customers come here for the old 
Montmartre atmosphere.
And no-one reminisces about old times being the good times, because at La Mascotte the good times are here and now!
Enjoy wines and spirits by small producers, and bar meals to fill a corner… or more :
- Nine oysters and a glass of white wine for €9.50
- A plate of ham and sausage with a glass of wine for €5.50
- And Breakfast for €8.
How much are drinks?
Like we said, we're a down-to-earth, local bar.
THE BRASSERIE :
: With its mirrors and Art Deco-style inlay, it's worlds apart from the eateries that guidebooks list under "world food".
For over a hundred years, La Mascotte has cooked with French regional produce, straight from the farm.
The pork, ham and sausage are from premium free-range pigs in Cantal. Beef (a Charolais, Salers and Aubrac cross) comes from the Joffrois family butcher in Pierrefort, also in Cantal. The fish and seafood are straight off the boat in Brittany or from the best Atlantic fish farms, and the ice-creams are Berthillon's finest…
Of course, the rest of the ingredients are on a par.
And if you're itching to tell us we can buy the same produce cheaper in China, feel free to stop by… we enjoy a good laugh too!

Prices :
Between €15 and €23 for a main course from the menu, with starters
and desserts at around €7.
Plus a set three-course meal for €29.
At weekday lunchtimes, choose between a starter and a main course, or a
main course and a dessert for €17.50.
The kitchens are open weekdays from noon to 3pm and from 7pm to midnight. Saturdays and Sundays non-stop from noon to midnight.
A private function room for up to 40 people is the ideal setting for business lunches, or to host a celebration with family and friends (birthdays, wedding anniversaries, etc.).
